Year 2: past tense verbs

The Tier 1 students had a lot of fun using these talking tubes to ask questions about each other's holidays. They remembered to use past tense verbs when speaking about actions that had already happened. Sounds like everyone had a fantastic and activity-filled holiday!

Year 2: Similes

Year 2 are learning how to use similes in poetry and in their writing. A simile is a figure of speech, and is used to compare two unlike things using 'like' and 'as'.
