Year 1: Nouns, Adjectives and Poetry

Year 1 have been exploring the new EY&I campus and learning all about nouns. They have been using their senses to think about the things we can see, touch, hear and smell.

The children have learnt how nouns can be either:

- A person
- A place
- Or a thing.

Here's a little song that we have been wathcing to remind ourselves.

By the end of this week, all studnets were able to produce their own 'Daytime Poem', describing a range of nouns using brilliant adjectives. Well done everyone for trying really hard with your writing!
